Co-Founder & Direction, Education
With more than 20 years of experience in learning, development, and technology, along with a Master of Education (MEd) in Instructional Design and Technology, Lan Lam has created countless programs that help change behaviors and improve outcomes. More recently, she saw a growing, yet often overlooked, need to cultivate similar cognitive shifts to build emotional resilience.
As a mother of college and high school volleyball players, Lan witnessed in her daughters and their teammates how the pressures of competition, academics, recruitment, and overall expectations can weigh heavily on young athletes, both on and off the court. She felt compelled to apply her career skills in a new way.
Together with her daughter Eliana, Lan launched Dragonfly Initiative to provide education, resources, and peer support that empower athletes to prioritize their mental well-being alongside their performance.
When she’s not working, Lan enjoys being outdoors—hiking, swimming, and spending time with her family and their dog, Ollie. She is committed to balance and well-being in life and work, though she occasionally wonders whether coffee counts as self-care.
