Champion student-athlete mental health with us! Make your game, tournament, or athletic event more than just competition—turn it into a Dragonfly Initiative Game.
By designating your event as a DI Game or inviting us to set up a booth, you’re showing your commitment to athlete well-being by providing student-athletes with access to vital mental health resources, education, and support.
The leap from high school to college athletics is one of the most challenging transitions in an athlete’s career. It’s also a time when mental health struggles and dropouts are most common. Our Transitioning to College Athletics Workshop equips graduating high school student-athletes with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to navigate this shift successfully.
Show your commitment to athlete well-being by making your game an official DI event. We’ll provide materials, messaging, and support to raise awareness for mental health in sports.
Our team will be at your event with engaging resources, conversations, and ways for athletes to connect with the support they need.
Learn about tools, strategies, and professional resources that help athletes manage stress, anxiety, and performance pressures.
Student-athletes have the opportunity to take an active role in mental health advocacy by becoming a Dragonfly Initiative Student-Athlete Representative. As a representative, you’ll help raise awareness, foster open conversations, and connect your peers with valuable resources—all while making a meaningful impact in your sports community.

This workshop was thoughtfully developed through a collaboration between student-athletes, sports psychologists, and learning specialists ensuring that participants receive research-backed strategies on topics relevant to today’s athletes. From managing stress to optimizing performance and maintaining mental well-being, this workshop addresses the real challenges student-athletes face.
One of the most powerful aspects of this workshop is our student-athlete panel. Led by members of our leadership team, along with alumni and current collegiate athletes, the panel shares real-life experiences, challenges, and strategies for success. Featuring athletes from diverse backgrounds and paths, this discussion offers attendees a genuine, relatable perspective on what to expect in college athletics.
