Our student interns keep us flying in so many ways!

Khushal joined the Dragonfly team in the winter of 2026. He is pursuing a master’s degree in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and hopes to pursue a career as a sport psychologist. His long-term mission is to support collegiate and professional athletes through the psychological demands of sport, including performance anxiety, confidence, motivation, focus, and life beyond competition. He is currently conducting a research study on the impact of the NCAA's name, image, and likeness (NIL) rule on the motivation of DI basketball players.
Khushal is from Toronto, Canada, and was a nationally ranked junior tennis player before competing as a varsity tennis player at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He has been coaching tennis since 2018, working with athletes across different ages and skill levels.
Khushal also has a passion for running and endurance training, and actively competes in marathons. He is also deeply interested in Stoicism, Eastern ideologies, mindfulness, and the ways these philosophies can enhance personal growth, discipline, and athletic performance.
In his free time, Khushal enjoys playing tennis and basketball, reading, travelling, watching movies, spending time in nature, and spending time with friends and family.
